Portraits as Art. That’s how I approach my portraiture – creating an artistic moment of the individual or group, be it musician, mother & child, maternity, family, father, son...

MaryLynn has been shooting digitally for many years now and loves the freedom of expression it allows. She considers Photoshop a valuable tool to help create the final image. She loves photographing women in their final month of pregnancy, as it captures the maternal beauty they may have forgotten. Please visit her new Maternity Website - www.labellabelli.com - for a closer look at this feature at her new studio in Louisville, CO. MaryLynn uses fabrics to grace their bodies and lighting to sculpt their fabulous shape.

The Power of the Print. With the digital age in full swing, MaryLynn's desire is to be sure you fulfill both the need for digital images as well as creating a legacy of beautiful prints for your family and friends for many years to come. Let's ensure they can have the thrill of going through old photographs in the same way we did when visiting mom or grandma… or seeing a beautiful family portrait framed on the wall. MaryLynn offers a variety of printing options including canvas and watercolor as well as old Tintype style on a birch box. She is continually looking for new ways to create an artful print by transferring the image to a given surface, be it paper, wood, fabric, metal…

MaryLynn also enjoys working with musicians for CD covers and images, probably because of her personal musical past. She was a founding member of the vocal jazz group 'Rare Silk'. They recorded 3 CD's, were nominated for 3 Grammy Awards and toured extensively for 6 years. Her 10-year involvement with Rare Silk is still a huge part of who she is and affords her an insightful approach to photographing artists and musicians. Music usually becomes an integral part of the photo shoot, no matter what or who she is shooting.

MaryLynn recently relocated to Louisville, CO. She has opened her storefront studio at 908 Main St. and is excited to be in the company of other artists in Louisville's Art District and serve the Louisville Community. Her client base ranges from families to corporations to designers, individuals and musicians desiring an artful approach to portraiture.
